Satellite Database Description

stkSatDbAll The stkSatDbAll database includes all catalogued objects (over 29,000 so far)--both on orbit and decayed—including payloads, debris, rocket bodies, first-, second-, and third-stage objects. Entries are included in the database regardless of TLE availability.

stkAllTLE The stkAllTLE database is a database of all orbiting objects with a TLE available. As with the stkSatDbAll database, stkAllTLE includes payloads, debris, rocket bodies, etc. All entries in the database have a corresponding TLE. This is the suggested database for use with the Conjunction Analysis Tool (CAT).

stkSatDb The stkSatDb database is a database of all payloads—both on orbit and decayed. If a TLE is not available for a given payload, the payload is still listed in the stkSatDb database. This is the default satellite database used by STK.

stkAllComm The stkAllComm database is a database of all orbiting communication satellites. All objects with a communications mission are included regardless of TLE availability.
