The Description page for an object is a handy place to record miscellaneous information about the object and its role in your analytical or operational task. Two text fields are provided:
Description Options

|---|---|
| Short Description | A one-line entry briefly describing the object, such as "environmental monitoring satellite" or "NASA tracking station/launch site". |
| Long Description | More detailed information about the object and its purpose. |
Note: When objects are introduced via STK databases, positional and other information is automatically written to the Long Description field.
