Satellite Database Advanced Search Criteria

Use the following advanced search options for locating satellites in the satellite database specified on the Satellite Database dialog box.

Search Criteria Description
Official Name The official name of the satellite.
Status set to "Active"

Determines whether a satellite is active or inactive. (In general, the status of a satellite is not available from the AGI Satellite database. Status is listed where there is a reliable source for that information. No status is listed where there is no published, reliable source.) Not valid for Space Track data.

Owner The country that owns the satellite.
Mission The primary mission that the satellite performs. Not valid for Space Track data.
International Designator The international designator of the vehicle. The international number format is YYYY-DDD, indicating the year and the day of the year of the launch, and an alpha indicator for each piece associated with that launch.
Apogee: Min/Max The minimum and/or maximum search limits for apogee altitude.
Perigee: Min/Max The minimum and/or maximum search limits for perigee altitude.
Period: Min/Max The minimum and/or maximum search limits for period.
Inclination: Min/Max The minimum and/or maximum search limits for inclination.
