The Coverage Figure of Merit Object

The Coverage Figure of Merit object enables you to analyze coverage in various directions over time, using several attitude-dependent figures of merit. Select one or more of the following to define Coverage Figure of Merit:

Basic Properties

Property Description
Definition Specify the method by which the quality of attitude coverage is measured.

The following Types are available:

Coverage Time Revisit Time
Access Duration Number of Accesses
Access Separation Number of Gaps

Access Constraints Dilution of Precision
Navigation Accuracy

2D Graphics Properties

Property Description
Attributes Specify static and animation graphics for the figure of merit. The definition of the figure of merit is intrinsic in the display of the coverage graphics.
Contours Specify how levels of coverage quality display in both the 2D and 3D Graphics windows. To accurately display contour levels for figures of merit in the 2D and 3D Graphics window, you should know the approximate range of values for the current figure of merit. You can use the Report & Graph Manager for the figure of merit to determine this range.

Property Description
Attributes Define the 3D graphic properties for the Figure of Merit for the Coverage Definition object.
