3D Graphics Properties for Scenarios

AGI Globeserver

The AGI Globeserver enables you to remotely access an AGI web server that hosts globe data and streams the required portions directly to your 3D display.

To access the AGI Globeserver properties page, open the Scenario properties browser and select Globeserver under 3D Graphics.

AGI Globeserver Considerations

Globeserver Terrain/Imagery Configuration Data

Enable Globeserver Access. Enables you to use terrain or imagery from a Web server.

Note: You can view and select images from the Globe Manager.

Reload Configuration Data. Reloads the list of available images.

Server. Specifies the server on which the list of available Web images reside. The AGI Globeserver, globeserver.agi.com, is the default globe server.

Port. Specifies the port number to which STK connects to obtain the list of available Web pages. The default port number is 80.

Username/Password. Enter a username and password if you wish to connect to a restricted Globeserver. Click the Save Passwords option to securely save usernames and passwords so they are loaded automatically when the scenario is loaded.

Note: You will be prompted for the userid and password when loading a scenario that requires a Globeserver Username and Password. Passwords are saved on the current user's computer and not with the scenario. Shared scenarios will not have the saved password for accessing Globeserver.

Add button. To add a server to the list of servers that retrieve configuration data for Globeserver:

  1. Click Add.
  2. Enter the server name and port number.

Remove button. To remove a server from the list:

  1. Select the server in the list.
  2. Click Remove.
