3D Graphics Properties for STK Objects
Use to display range contours for a specific STK object. Range contours display in accordance with the values set for 2D Graphics Range Contours for the object.
Show. Displays the contour cone's projection on the surface of the central body.
Translucent Lines. Makes the contour cone translucent at the percentage specified.
% Translucency. Use the slide control to set the translucency of the contour cone's projection on the surface of the central body. You can adjust translucency from 0 to 100%, where 100% is completely invisible.
Show Boundary Wall. Displays the boundary for the object as a solid or translucent wall that extends from the lower edge altitude to the upper edge altitude.
Upper Edge/Lower Edge. Specifies the top altitude and bottom altitude of the boundary wall. You can reference the altitude from:
Note: The terrain data files available in this scenario for visualization and analysis are listed on the Terrain properties page.
Use Wall Translucency. Displays the boundary wall at the translucency percentage specified. Use the slide control to set the translucency of the boundary wall. Translucency can be adjusted from 0 to 100 percent, where 100 percent is invisible.
Use Line Translucency. Displays the lines at the top and bottom edges of the boundary wall at the translucency percentage specified. Use the slide control to set the translucency of the line. Translucency can be adjusted from 0 to 100 percent, where 100 percent is invisible.
Save Terrain for Faster Loading. This option is enabled if you select Terrain as the Upper or Lower Edge value. When selected, the terrain is saved, decreasing load time. (Valid for facilities only.)
Auto Compute Terrain Intersection Region. If selected, STK automatically computes a bounding rectangle for which to load dted. This rectangle bounds the vehicle's path and range rings. If not selected, you can specify a terrain region for dted caching. The default of 0, 0, 0, 0 indicates that dted caching is disabled and dted will be loaded on each animation step. (Valid for vehicles only.)
