The DSim Development Kit broadens the functionality of STK's DSim Extension by enabling
users to customize data feed integration with STK. This free offering allows for the creation of plug-ins that ingest data into and
export data from STK in formats other than DIS and HLA while still providing DIS and HLA functionality. Users can
create and deploy solutions to display, manage, and analyze simulation and real-time data via a flexible architecture
that leverages AGI analysis and visualization technology.
The DSim technology uses MÄK Technologies' VR-Link toolkit to interact with the most common networked simulation
standards and is an out-of-the-box COTS solution.
Why use the DSim Development Kit?
Customize the DSim Extension for STK, AGI Viewer, and 4DX
Extend data feed compatibility beyond the DIS and HLA compliance included in the DSim Extension and those
offered as specialty interfaces.
Trigger actions in external M&S tools based on events that occur in STK. These events can be set off
based on entity interactions that involve STK analyses such as line-of-sight access; sensor coverage;
communications; navigation accuracy and jamming coverage; and more. The ability to write custom plug-ins for this

of event data is only available with the DSim Development Kit.
Process data before it reaches end users to aid interpretation and analysis. Examples include track
correlation and selective filtering.
Standardize deployments and minimize training by preconfiguring the DSim Extension. Examples include display
settings, airspace boundaries, new track alerts, and analysis tasks such as collision prediction.
